Jan '12 1500: Good Deals on 1911's

Does any one know of a booth where I can get a good deal on a Springfield 1911?

I didn't see any "good deals" on 1911's today and I was specifically looking for one. The best I saw was close to regular price in my area shops and also many that were way overpriced. I looked at a couple Springfields and I think the cheapest one I saw was $649. I saw a Remington R1 for $599.

I'm going on Sunday and hope to find a deal or at least normal price for a 1911. If not I will be ordering mine the next few days after the show. Kimber Pro Carry II or Ultra Carry II is what I'm going for!

When I see a sr1911, I'm there. The Remington is a great often on sale Midwest.

picked up a springfield 1911 champion in od green for 550

I bought one magazine and passed up an awesome deal on a ANIB stainless springfield loaded 1911 in 9mm for $750 out the door, don't know why other than I was dazed from the crowd!

Was it a all black model with the full rail? If so I almost took that one home with me, but realized that I didn't have the funds to to so. I wanted to really bad though.

Yep, that be the one...glad you passed so I could buy it. Most accurate 1911 I have shot to date!

Very nice. I thought about trading in my loaded stainless Springfield champion out of the custom shop so that I could take the TRP home but couldn't bring myself to do it. Lucky you.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up giving for it?
