Everyone knows Bull Sharks are not found north of the Ohio river.
You don't know just how true that might be...
Sharks In Illinois - In-Fisherman
This same story (except the first part was changed to a lake in Kentucky) with the same picture made rounds on FB sent to a friend that lives here but is from KY.
There was also a story 2 days ago about a pair of Great Whites in the Mississippi River by ST Louis. I call BS on that one too
Great White, yeah no. They can't survive fresh water. Bull sharks can. And yes Bull sharks while rare are found in the Mississippi river at least that far north. See above. They have been found 2500 miles inland in the Amazon. Heck they have been seen leaping like Salmon over rapids to get inland.
