Just ordered a CMMG .22

Placed an order with TGSCOM for a CMMG Quebec-A .22 Evolution. After all of my research I think this is a WIN. I was considering a S&W 15-22 but for the same price ($495) I get a mil-spec lower that accepts all standard AR uppers. So in 7-10 days I will be picking it up from the FFL and update with a range report.

Well it has been 2 weeks and it finally shipped today. The 7-10 days was "business days." Should arrive in time to take to the range Saturday

Finally was able to pick it up from the FFl after work today, but too late to take it to the range. Fit and finish looks good. The plastic magazine was a little too tight for my liking so I shaved a little off of it until I could insert and remove it without force. I have already taken a half day off work next Saturday for the 1500 and will be back in Indy for the Fire Dept. Instructors Conference the following weekend so it will have to sit in the safe for a while before I can put it through it paces.
