    the gun does look amazing and I really wanted to like it too. but with the plethora of bad reviews just couldn't do it. also something else that I read on another forum is that not only does the manual say to use certain ammo, it also says that there are certain parts (like the recoil spring) that need to be replaced every 500 rounds or so. expensive part and hardly ever in stock...

    Those are real popular guns in some circles. What does there physical size compare most closely to?

    The PPS is about 20% larger than the Solo. It is also about 5oz. heavier. I looked at a SIG 938 & a Beretta Nano before deciding on the PPS. Both of those pistols are definitely smaller but not necessarily more reliable.
