I've read about this place. They also have a never fired pfeister (I think that's how it's spelled) volley gun. I keep wanting to get there since moving here. Just can't seem to get the time. It is absolutely on the "near future" list of things to do.

When I saw those firearms when I was younger, they were on display in the county complex building (I believe it's the same collection). I'll have to go see them sometime.

This collection is very impressive, the museum doesn't get the credit it deserves. Sure its not a Chicago museum but its very personable.
