So, while Bear was roughing it with a camera crew and sleeping in hotels, Survivorman (i.e. Les Stroud) was out in the woods by himself , lugging around his own camera equipment, and filming survival for real.

I haven't seen that one, it would be cool. (And I think just about everyone's dream on this board...)

Yep, that was pretty interesting. He was way out in the boonies, IIRC.

You should be able to find it. I watched it on google video IIRC. It's about an hour long.

He and his whole family lived in a tent through the first winter because the house wasn't done on time. Talk about tough people, and true survival.

I enjoy watching les nice to see alittle reality in a tv show a real survivor. Thanks for info I will be sure to watch.
