That we use to browse this site and do other stuff like look at guns and porn...or if your like me, I try to look at chicks naked with guns!! LOL
Make sure you throw out the basic specs (no need for a 200 page essay on how bad ass your machine is, just the basics) and an image. I am really only trying to see how everyone else has there desk and monitor placement.
I just finished taking my 26" monitors off the dual stand I had because the left side would not stay in position any longer. I guess these new monitors are a tad to heavy for the left/right swivel action, and the left monitor kept trying to tilt down and to the left so I had to put them both back on there factory stands.
Quick Specs,
i7 920 (OC'd with water cooling)
12gb Ram
2 - 3TB Hard Drives
2 - 580 GTX SLI (Pre-ordered the 590's)
2 - 26" HD Monitors thru HDMI
1 -24" HD Monitor thru HDMI
I use this daily to develop software on, I mostly run Visual Studio 2K10, Sql Management Studio, Photoshop, numerous other programs, and firefox or chrome loaded up with debugging mods like firebug etc.
I generally use the left monitor for code, the middle for VS tool bars, Image Editing, SQL Mgmt Studio and the right for browsers, music, and misc stuff. I use my laptop on the far right to run off site tests and to sync programs, files and media to and from the servers at our Henry St. data center.
I need some ideas on how to place my monitors and stuff. Looking to see what everyone else runs and how there desk and monitor placement works out etc.
Hoping to see some swordfish setups. I toyed with making something similar but felt at this point in time it would be a waste of money and not very beneficial for me work wise, but more of a aesthetic please. I am def missing my dual stand since it was alot higher than my stock stands and had the perfect in and out angles.... sigh
So lets see em...
