I am looking to build a lite AR15 on a stripped lower I have. I know that I am wanting a pencil barrel to keep weight down and will most likely use the standard A2 sight but a MI or Troy flip up front is not out of the question. My rear sight will be a fixed rear sight as I am not a huge fan of folding rear sights. The problem I really have is a good lightweight stock as I hate the stock M4 stock cheek weld and the sopmod I have on my other rifle is a bit bulky. Can anyone suggest a good stock with less weight but great ergonomics? Also, any complete uppers from a quality builder that are built for low weight would be awesome as well. Any info or suggestions are appreciated.
