Local news in New York reporting on NRA press conference.

So I'm in New York today and during a late breakfast I'm trying to watch the news. The local news is stating that the NRA is calling for all schools to have a police officer and seem to be appalled by the idea. They even went on to report about people stating that the NRA is responsible for this tragedy and that Wayne Lapierre is crazy. Nothing good or positive was reported for the NRA. This is the mindset that we are up against.

Indeed, but I got to feel my ears burn hearing it (more or less) first hand. I just wanted to share my experience and vent.

Yeah it's exactly the response that Wayne LaPierre predicated in his opening remarks at the conference.
