Looking for 7.7X58 Jap ammo

My neighbor has a gun that shoots 7.7X58 Jap and hes having a hard time finding ammo for it. Does anyone know where he can find some? Also hes wanting to have some reloaded if he cant find anymore ammo. Is there another caliber that someone can trim down to a 7.7X58 and reload for this rifle or is that a no go?

Any help would be appreciated.

Norma and Hornady both make ammo for it. Graf and Sons carry it from both makers. The cases can be reformed from 30-06.

That 7.7x58 jap ammo is hard to find most places I buy ammo from they are out of stock, so your friend better buy from SPORTMANS GUIDE
