Looking for free/almost free skis

My scout troop has to make a sled for a "Klondike" theme campout this month.

What area are you in? I may have something for you. I'll have to dig around in the barn to see if I've got an old pair.

If not I've got a pair you can have. Although I'll say back in the day we split long curved limbs and smoothed them with draw knives to make the runners. Does the sled still have to be lashed together?
