I had a blond once tell me (with the look of having just received an epiphany of an idea) "I just had an apostrophe"

Ok this has bugged me for quite some time, when someone uses the word loose, for the word lose....you can LOSE your mind... the knot was too LOOSE...can you see the difference? You cannot LOOSE your license, you can LOSE it though. JMHO

But I can "Lose" my dog and if my memory serves correctly one can also "Loose" the dog - as in 'Let slip the dogs of war' kind of way..
