Got a buddy wanting to sell me a M&P 40 full size in LNIB condition. Asking 525 for everything. Thoughts? Should I talk him down or take the deal?

I understand your buddies position that is Like new.

But bottom line you can buy new cheaper from online retailers like Buds, free shipping and a transfer fee you are still well under his asking price. I would ask him to realize that his gun is not worth what he paid for it but what you can get the same gun for bottom line.

Now if you want to help your buddy out... His asking price is not totally unreasonable, just a little high, so you would not be getting ripped off.

I wouldn't give more than about $400 for a used one, no matter what condition it's in. He's about $125 over reasonable asking price of a used one, when you can get them new for $425 + transfer fee online.
