What kind of manual trimmer do you use? Ease of holding brass, changing pilots or cutters .
    Thanks

    Manual, I use a Redding.
I've got 2 Lymans and an RCBS, and to me, found the redding the best so far for manual trimmers. Cutter blades seemed to stay sharper longer, and it holds the cases better.

Zip Trim with three jaw chuck. The chuck makes it easier than using the lock studs and shellholder, but it still sucks.

On the plus side it is cheap.

I probably won't be agreeing with myself after i check and trim the 500 or so pieces of 30-06 brass I have sitting on my bench.

    Congrats on the new trimmer!

Here's a possible Christmas gift to yourself or let someone get it for you. It's an RCBS 3-way cutter that goes on the TrimPro. It does three steps (trim, deburr, chamfer) in one step. Saves lots of time! :yesway:
