Dealers must be betting on a rush tomorrow. Most prices were significantly higher on many popular calibers.

Example: $85/500 at the last show for 9mm WPA. This show $100/500...same guy.

Many of the Russian .223 and 7.62x39 was $230/1000

Not much ammo buying going on Friday.

Better off ordering from Aim, SG etc.

I thought the prices were reasonable. :dunno:

My last big order of Silver Bear .223 I paid around $255-260. (this was at least a year and a half ago, maybe two). Prices then went up and it was closer to $300 per 1000 (prices are after tax and/or shipping). I bought 1000 rounds today for about the same as I paid a year and a half ago. Federal 9mm was also reasonable at $199 per 1000.

The price for the 7.62 doesn't sound bad, when you consider shipping for online purchases (did that include tax?).

How much were the Makarov barrel presses going for? :)

I didn't look at the ammo , I freaked at the $1900 and $1500 keltec shotguns.

HA! Same here. All the ammo prices I tried to remember went out the window when I saw that thing.

It was priced only what? A grand over MSRP? I understant being rare and not readily available at the moment but DAMN!!

almost bought 1k rounds of xm193 5.56 nato, was $350/1000 which is getting to be the normal. add in 7% sales tax, was $374.50 fair enough, add in 3% for using my card and it jumped to $385.74, at this point i said no, i am not going to add another 3% to my $350 purchase because of the way i am paying, they guy told me that that was the way they did things, i asked if there was any way he could waive the 3% extra charge since i was spending $350 and he said no, not going to happend. i then let him know that i would not be buying said ammunition and that he could enjoying carrying this stuff back to his truck and unloading when he got home.

AIM raised the price of their 7.62 Wolf ammo. After shipping I think it was .83 more than the stuff I got at the show.

Must be getting too close to the elections and everything is gonna start going up. Ruins it for us year round hoarders.

Still decent deals to be found, but you had to really look for them, ammo wise at least.
