Last 1500 I went to grabbed a numbers matching 1937 (forget which armory, as the one I already had was also a 1937 and the opposite armory, what luck!) with the accessories (ammo pouch, oil cans, cleaning kit, bore guide, etc.) for a $100 bill, private party sale.
Still have yet to shoot it, but it looks to be in great shape!

I hear ya, I borrow one of those wearable recoil shields like this:

Can you find the kits like aim surplus with bayonet, pouches, sling, etc?

Yeah you can almost Google search for a surplus kit and you will find all sorts of places. i actually found a nice surplus kit on amazon surprisingly enough. cosmo was on everything including the sling.

HA! Ain't it the truth. Then again, how do you expect your sling to rest comfortably inside a wooden crate in a warehouse for 60 years without rusting all the way through?
