Last week, I posted a request for tips on how to best prepare for a first time trip to the 1500. Thanks to the GREAT comments, I had a productive and enjoyable trip. It also helped that I had a personal guide for part of the show.

Some tips that made the biggest impact.

    1. Do your homework on what you want and how much to pay for it.

    2. Have your notes with you on a piece of paper so vendors know you did your homework.

    3. Walk the whole show before you buy anything. Jot down where you saw something and how much it was.

    4. Be patient while negotiating the crowds.

Thanks again to everyone. This won't be my last show.
