These mags work with the 795 and the 70, so I assume the 25 rounder would work fine in the 70.41176 - .22-Caliber Magazine Fits Marlin & Glenfield Clip-Loaders & Self-Loaders & Post-1988 Bolt-Actions 10 Rounds Nickel-Plated But you know what happens when you assume.

Are their mags any good? I have never owned a Butler Creek mag.

Meh. Love my 795. No need for that kind of capacity. It will obstruct most shooting positions.

I've had some butler creek/Shooter's ridge mags for a 10/22 i used to own. I was unimpressed.
