Plenty of folks here that enjoy the old war horses.
My war collection is meager, but I do enjoy them.
I have what appears to be an unissued Lithgow SMLE Enfield dated 1944.
I'm not sure it ever saw service.
On the other hand, I have a type 99 Arisaka that looks like it has been through 3 world wars, and then some. This poor thing has been beat to death, but the bore is shiny and it shoots to point of aim. No dust cover or mono-pod, but I do have complete anti-aircraft sights, including the wings, and my mum is intact, completely unmolested.
