Mostly all they do is want "freedom", but only for the things and behaviors THEY want to do. Dopers are ok with gun bans, duck-hunters are ok with assault-weapon bans, gun owners are ok with the 'war on drugs', liberals demand 'gay marriage' be endorsed by all, but are ok with prohibiting cigarette smoking.

Our nation's founders would be very ASHAMED of us.

Read about the veto in the USA Today. I am disappointed. Somebody finally had the chance to make our children safer and didn't take it.

A few places in Texas are arming up the teachers. They are even giving them discounts to get their weapons. St. Louis police chief was advocating arming them, and Tennessee is considering letting teachers carry in schools.

Michigan may have folded, but the discussion is still continuing elsewhere.

Snyder had an opportunity to turn the entire tenor of the current debate on its ear - ON IT'S EAR! Change the momentum entirely.

Could have stuck his finger in the eye of all the gun grabbing libs and liberal mainstream media. How often does an opportunity like that come along?
