According to our local INGO experts, this is a Model 1893 converted from 7.65x53 to 8mm Mauser caliber. (Thanks mkgr22)
Wood in decent condition, some dings throughout
Rifling visible
Some pitting in bore (see pics)
"CAI ST ALB VT" stamped on the barrel
Appears to still be wearing the shipping/storage cosmoline on many surfaces - needs cleaned thoroughly (I did attempt to clean the bore to verify condition.)
