judging by the experience i've had with previous magazine alternatives for other rifles, I would say stick with the 5 rounds, and learn to pop those strippers clean. :)

One round hurts my face. I can't imagine what 5 or 10 in a row would do.

???...The stock goes aganst your shoulder, not your face!:laugh::lmfao::hehe:

The trick to loading with Mosin stripper clips & getting it to work is the way you load the rounds into the stripper clip.
The rim of the upper round has to be in front of the one below it, kind of like this.

    Sorry about the bad pic's

Actually, Sir, if the interrupter is set up right, you do not need to stagger them like this.

When the rounds come packed on stripper clips, they usually look like this:

    At least in my experience.

Of course, some of these refurbs are not set up properly, and there's not enough room between the mag and the interrupter, so you do get rimlock.

Just shim the receiver up a couple thousandths at a time and you'll get to where it doesn't rimlock.

That's one of the beauties of the design.

    Well, that didn't work.

Staggered with the middle one being the furthest out is what I was going for.
