I've shot this gun already and it does shoot fine, but I've noticed a problem. The barrel, while it does seat all of the way into the receiver and mates properly, has a gap between the vent rib and the receiver as well as the mag tube and barrel link. I've attached pictures. The barrel, can be moved slightly if you grab a hold of it and twist. Also, w/o a shell in, while the forearm is all of the way forward, you can move it about the same distance the gap is. Is this going to be problematic? I can solve this by throwing the barrel on a lathe and trimming off the excess.

The gaps on my 500 look pretty much like yours, but I'm unable to move the barrel. Did your gun come with an additional barrel that you could try?
