    SOLD $300
Mossberg 500A 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun (extra barrel sold)

Selling for a long time friend who bought this new Mossberg 500A after college around 1980.
Says he shot 3, maybe 4 boxes, hunting.

    Produced 1961–present.
An American standard, the Mossberg 500A Hunting is an all-purpose, lightweight 7.5-pound, 12-gauge pump-action shotgun with a 28-inch barrel.
You can use this 28-inch barrel, 5+1 round capacity, vented recoil pad, and unmatched reliability with birdshot and buckshot makes this a great rifle for hunting waterfowl, small game, elk, and buck, clay & skeet shooting, target practice and competition shooting.

Mossberg shotguns are based on the blueprint of Carl Benson and have been on the market since the 60s.
It is built on the tried and true action of the Mossberg 500.
There’s a reason these have been around for so long: they’re affordable, reliable, tough, functional, feeds well, and accepts all kinds of buckshot and slugs.
The Mossberg 500A is a high functioning shotgun, with a good balance between adaptability and consistency.
It handles smoothly, and feeds, fires, and ejects without issues.
