Good for her! Never get between a mother and her children!

Just think, all the anti gunners out there would have preferred she NOT be armed...

I love the comment from a neighbor of one of the [strike]kids[/strike] criminals. She's not surprised they would be involved because they're "young and have nothing to do." Wow, if I did that when I was young and had nothing to do....

Go Mom! I bet her husband is pretty flippin proud. I'd be buying her flowers for quite a while.

Side note: can the burglars be charged with murder?

Most states have a clause in the criminal laws that if you're involved in a crime where someone dies, criminal or victim, there's a murder charge waiting for you.

Good for her. I'm sorry that those people chose to commit the crime, but they had it coming. If someone breaks into my home I WILL shoot. Those that threaten that family should be flogged.

I rather like the name, "Make My Day Law." It's easy to remember and the name alone should deter someone from breaking into a home. I'm glad the family was safe and +1 to the Airman and his wife for properly defending their home.

That's really a shame. I'm sure she'd make the same decision again, but it's too bad that they have to change their lives around because of scum like that. :xmad:

They had been considering moving for a couple months now but seeing that he works a government job it hasnt all gone as smooth as it could. These are the two threads that give a little background.
