My favorite CUB fan is STEVE BARTMAN:D If it wasn't for him the MARLINS would have never made it to the WORLD SERIES:rockwoot:Steve Bartman incident - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No, no, and HELL NO!. That kid had nothing to do with it. It was Alex Gonzalez's error, Mark Prior's bad pitching, Dusty Baker's poor managing, and the 2003 Cubs lack of heart. Don't forget; that game was only game 6. They came back the next night to blow ANOTHER lead!

That's a stab to the heart. I was actually rooting for the Cubs to win. If the cards didn't make it I was wanting them to win (for my daughter the Cubs fan). Did you see the ESPN film on Bartman?

It was really good. There were a couple guys (other fans) in it that really came off as useless morons. As poor a defensive outfielder as Alou was, the odds of him making that catch were almost nil. Bartman did what most fans do when a foul ball comes at them. It wasn't his fault, or fate or the freaking Goat Curse. It was Cubs players being bad at baseball in the clutch, nothing more, nothing less.

I agree, it wasn't his fault. He was just the closest person there and caught all the blame. I've been to Wrigley several times and there is nothing like it.
