How do you all like my avatar? I lifted it off the hubble telescope site. It just amazes me what that thing has shown/taught us about the universe. Absolutely awesome!

I have a NASA app on my iPad that I like to look at. I love the stars. Have a nice scope as well.

I'm not going to turn this into a political issue because we have a forum for that. but the space program was one of the best programs that we have ever had. It's such a huge disappointment that it's gone.

I have never actually hooked my camera up to my telescope. Now, I did try it many years ago and could never get it to work right so I just gave up. These days, you can probably hook your telescope up to your laptop and have the images displayed there. We did buy our daughter a little motorized one this year and she really enjoys it. I haven't hooked it up to the computer yet to see what it can actually do. It's a lot easier to get hers out then our Celestron Ultima 2000.
