We took a trip to Wilbert Wright today for some fun. Shot the glocks, the 19 and 26 and tried out the P32 I picked up at the 1500, but my wife favorite new toy was the AR that I picked up a few weeks ago with M1 flip up sites. She had never shot one, did not want to. I talked her into it this time and she had a blast. This is going to cost me way to much money........

My wife, look at that smile.....:)

I'd be smiling if I were here too. Especially shooting like that when shooting for her first time. She did a pretty good job as far as I can see.

Yeah its gonna get expensive, but isn't it nice now to have someone else to share the hobby with? I'm still trying to find a woman like that...

    Uh.... what?

    First time out?

Those are the most impressive groupings I've ever seen from a first-time out.

I well imagine she'll be a tack-driver from here on in.

    Congratulations.

The AR is my absolute favorite firearm. I can shoot the center of the target out with no problem. That's always my goal too. :) I shoot it with the .22 conversion kit in it though. Too expensive for the .223 ammo. I usually use the glow targets too.

    I'm glad she enjoys it.

What kit do you have? I was thinking I might need to invest in one.

It's a Ceiner kit. I wouldn't recommend it. Go with the Spike's or CMMG instead. I only bought the Ceiner because it was the only thing available at the time. The conversion is totally worth it, though. It's around $180, but given that .223 is something like 40 cents/round, you'll make up that investment in no time.
