, and that's a lot of engine oil. No leaks on the concrete. Does anyone have recommendations? I may need a technician or shop; I'm in north Indianapolis.

I'm not by my parts lookup computer, but if it has PCV valve, it could be stuck open and sucking oil out of the valve cover into the intake and burning it.

Thanks! I'll look into that. I usually do all of my repair work up to and including engine rebuilds and transmission swaps, but I'm unusually busy with work this year.

Uh.....that is a lot of miles. Is it smoking. It has to be going somewhere. Is the inside of the tailpipe wet/oily.
As the engine is not directly coupled to the wheels it is hard to say if it is down on power.
    Compression test.
PVC valve will make the engine smoke.
