Need Help Colt AR-15 / M16 Converion Kit .22lr

Found this in the shop, my brother gave me this in the late 90's when he worked in a machine shop that used to machine for Colt. I don't know squat about .22 conv. kits, skool me please. I put it in the rifle and fired one round. Don't have a magazine, was told "Black Dog" was the way to go, but don't know which kit style this is to buy a mag.

Any and all info is welcome, please HELP!

Thanks, I see they are out of stock, how are the poly mags? I assume they are much cheaper too, didn't see a price on the billet aluminum ones.

I had one of these Colt conversion units years ago... 15+ IIRC? It used the drop in .22 mags, they replaced the .223 followers.

No pics, but it looked like a standard follower at the top and then had the actual .22 mag below that went inside a standard 20rnd USGI 5.56 mag.

It worked great..... Anyone else recall these drop in .22 mag conversions?
