need info on smooth bore barrel

will it hurt it to shoot 00 buck shot or shotshells out of a smoth bore slug barrel

Not in the least damaging, about every shot gun I have had has been treated on this manner, shot shells out a smooth bore slug. Only effect I can think of is lack of accuracy @ some (unsure of what) distance.

It will hurt only if you don't pull that buttstock real tight into your shoulder.

You should be shooting those loads out of a smooth bore along with rifled slugs. You should shoot Sabots out of a rifled barrel
