It's been a awhile since I had been to the range. When I did go all of my shots were to the left of my point of aim. Any suggestions as to how to correct the problem. I shot two guns and had the same problem with both.
A couple of things come to mind. 1. You may be gripping to hard with your weak side (left hand). That can cause you to pull your shots left. You want a nice relaxed grip, just enough pressure to control the gun. 2. You are placing to much of your finger on the trigger. Which can also cause you to throw your shots left. Place the area between the tip and first joint on the trigger. See if that helps you out any.
You need to get to IDPA more often! Glad to see you finally started posting Jason!
If you are pulling shots left I concur for the most part. Weren't you shooting with your left thumb BEHIND the slide? You need to get your support hand further forward and also you need to use isometrics to steady your shot and not flinch at recoil. (Or pain from the slide digging into your thumb)
Again thanks for the advice guys, I will take all the help I can get. Frosty, I'm looking forward to getting back to IDPA, work has been getting in the way.
