I started this last year but got busy and have never used it. I have plenty of room here and have normally just went out and shot wherever I wanted as long as it was into a bank or hill. I'm planning on turning this into a nice range that goes out about 300 yds with a good bench.

The right tool to use for this job.

You may well end up with a lot of new "friends" wanting to come and help you use your new range ! :)

Depending on your location I might volunteer to perform range officer duties. :):

It's in clay co. About 6-7 miles from my house. About 1/4 mile off the road with a gate. I've Ben real busy lately. Not sure when I'll have time to get it all fixed up.

The backstop/pile is pretty much done. Havent had much time to work on it but get a lot done when I do. its about 45 ft thick at the base, 8-10 ft thisk at the top, and maybe 12-14 ft tall (taller then it looks in the pic). Just have to finish off some of the peripherals, and its done.
