You picked an EXCELLENT rifle, now make sure you spend at least as much on good glass

I think I may try out my SWFA super sniper SWFA SS 20x42 Tactical Riflescope on it first. I have it on my LR-308 and love it. I want to make the right decision on glass. :dunno: I really don't know what I want to put on it yet. I am open to suggestions......:dunno:

I don't like a FIXED power scope, I have NIGHTFORCE NXS, LEUPOLD MARK 4, LEUPOLD VX III, BUSHNELL ELITE 6500, BURRIS BLACK DIAMOND:twocents:

    Fixed will do just fine.
    I shot 2 seasons of F Class with a SS10x.
1000 yards is not an issue.
You'd have to spend a lot more to get better glass.

I have a NSX 5.5-22x50 now, but loved my SS at the time.

They are a bit better in terms of fit and finish and some say more true than a 700 action. The barrels are definitely nicer factory tubes, but still will not compair to a custom had cut barrel.

The Remington action offers more versatility as there's a huge after market segment, but it is growing.

I like the Tikka rifles a lot.

It finally came. I got the cope mounted but I think it is sitting too high. I have a set of low rings coming for it. Look for a range report early next week!!
