Just picked up and fired my new Browning 1911 380.Know a lot of you folks don't like 1911's in even 9mm so I am sure this would bother you. However, I just love this little pistol. Fits my hand perfectly fires flawlessly with all ammo I tried--including 2 of my reloads and is beeaauuttiffullll-- Fired with a buddy of mine and he had just bought a Bersa 380 for his wife. It didn't like either of my reloads and had noticeably more perceived recoil than my Browning.

Only issue is the same as they have on their 1911 22--the sights are hard to see. Will paint orange fluorescent paint on the front sight tonight.

If anyone is thinking of buying one of these pistols---go for it. Got mine from Northern Firearms for around $590 including shipping to my FFL.

I've been intrigued by these since they look like a great plinking gun. .380 is a very cheap round to reload and when .22lr is scarce about as good a plinking as you will find. The guns are priced just a tad high for a plinking gun for me right now.

Nice pic straight shooter. I have difficulty placing pics on INGO and appreciate you doing it. I also have some Sambar Stag grips for the 1911 380 but haven't put them on yet. The neat thing is that grips and holsters for the Browning 1911 22 also fit the 380. to 88E--save your coin like I did and go for it--

A JM Browning cartridge in a JM Browning platform. What's not to like? I yad an old Llama .380 in similar size that was very pleasant to shoot.
