Picked up my new XDM 3.8 compact today, pretty sweet so far, gonna take er apart and clean it and hopefully go shoot tomorrow, but here it is

Don't forget about Springfield's promo going on right now! Check to see, but I think your qualifies. Check the website and send them proof of purchase and you should get three extra mags and another mag carrier. Some are reporting getting the mags within a week to two weeks tops....

Is 9mm the only caliber that you can get in that size? I need one in .45

Currently they make just the XD in a .45ACP Compact model, with a 4" barrel and 10 rnd. magazine that also takes the 13 rnd magazines of the full size XD/ XDm. See Springfield's web site. My son and I each own one. Great guns to shoot and carry. About 1/2 inch longer than a Glock 19.

That sir is a .40, and as far as I kno they make this model in that and 9mm only

Well, I had an XD sub in .40 before this one carried and shot it for a year or more and have no complaints really as far as the trigger goes
