The school gave out take-home laptops, and monitored the students without their knowledge, using screenshots and webcam photography.

Feds will not press charges.

IBTL, I know this is posted somewhere else, so I have to get in my say. It is complete crap that this was allowed to happen. If there was no criminal intent, why was the program activated and then screenshots saved. The only rocket science I ever learned was the TOW, Dragon, and the Javelin, but I am still smart enough to figure out what those clowns were doing!

I still believe that the piece of paper that was most likely signed to accept the laptop covered the corporations butt.

One must read the fine print on anything that one signs these day's. You just might be signing away one's rights.

I'm right there with ya. If they would have charged them,they would have to register as sex offenders. Wonder how long this went on ,before they got busted?
