Needing help on how to easily remove the front sling on my ak47 npap ...putting on a magpul hand guard and this has to go? Any help would be appreciated

most cut them off.... they are installed before the gasblock and front sight are pressed onto the barrel. kind of sucks if you ever want to go back to stock however..... (but they do make bolt on retainers now for yugo rifles) much like those that where quite commonly used for saiga conversions )
