My wife is SUPER pissed about gun control.

Her very valid argument being, how is a 5'4" 120 lb woman supposed to defend herself against a 6' plus 180 lb man?

Her only way to equalize her footing against an aggressive man is with a gun.

That was actually a good article. In the NYT. I never thought I'd utter those two sentences near each other.

I made that arguement with someone on FB.
They said, "What if the bad guy has a gun?"
I said, "Then at least they'd be equal. Which is more than can be said if you take both guns away. A society without guns is ruled by young thugs"

Actually, the New York papers have been bucking against the Obama administration as of late. They of course are coming several years to late to the party but the tax increases on those who were "protected" has awaken many in the masses to what he was really doing.
