I really want to get one of these in 44 or 357. I also want a cut down pistol version of this rifle but they are just too much money right now. I'll be getting one of these rifles soon.

Are you talking about the 16" rifles? If so I saw on budsgunshop that you can get a brand new 16" blued 44mag for just shy of $400 delivered to your FFL. I know what you mean though, because if I had the spare $400 I'd be showing a picture of it instead of just talking about it. :(

Very nice. I am drooling over their new ranch hand. It is a puma with a 10 inch barrel and they have sawn off the butt stock to make a pistol grip. Completly useless, but gotta love it for the wow factor.

I'm a member of the Puma club as well guys. Love all my levers but the Puma just feels better in the hand and points better.

I just wish they would lose the safety on the new ones.

Trust the lawyers to get in there and spoil the fun.:xmad:

My rifle is made by Rossi & doesn't have the safety button stuck between the two action support risers on top of the receiver.

The old fashion half cock safety and an old fashion thing called muzzle control is sufficient.

Also, thankfully, mine has the legacy buck horn sights and not those disgusting plastic Hi Vizz things.
