    Their local tea partiers wanted to have a get together on the town square for Constitution Day (this Friday) and the town flunkies decided that would be too political an event and forbade them from doing so. Needless to say, lawsuit ensued. Personally, I urge the crowd to show up anyway and exercise not only their 1st Amendment rights, but their 2nd as well. Being that it's Ohio, tho I doubt they'll do that. Shame.

    I sure hope not, being that he saved thousands of American Citizens/Settlers from violent encounters, rapes, murders at the hands of raiding hordes; and also secured America her future.


    As if that was not enough, he crushed the Dynasty Banks, and gave the people they're rightful power to self rule, and not be ruled by foriegn powers.

    Most of what I could find about Andrew Jackson, only demonstrated his love of America, and written biasly against American heritage in favor of the cherokee.

    Let us review what the Colonist saw:

    1).
    What is not disputed is that the savagery from both sides was such as to be noted in newspapers, historical archives, diplomatic reports, and the United States Declaration of Independence. ("…[He] has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.")


    2). Most Native Americans who joined the struggle sided with the British, hoping to use the war to halt colonial expansion onto their land.


    3). Frontier warfare was particularly brutal, and numerous atrocities were committed on both sides. Both immigrant and Native noncombatants suffered greatly during the war, and villages and food supplies were frequently destroyed during military expeditions.

    4).In 1787, the Northwest Ordinance officially organized the Northwest Territory for white settlement. American settlers began pouring into the region. Violence erupted as Indians resisted this encroachment, and so the administration of President George Washington sent armed expeditions into the area to put down native resistance.

    5). Hernando de Soto’s expedition ambushed by Choctaws,[2] killing horses and pigs, as well as 200 Spaniards, who burned down Mabila compound & killed c. 2,500 warriors who had hidden in houses of a fake village.

    5b). Powhatans (Pamunkey) killed 347 English men, women and children throughout the Virginia colony, almost one-third of the English population of the Jamestown colony.

    5c).Pueblo warriors killed 380 Spanish settlers, and drove the other Spaniards from New Mexico.

    5d).1,500 Mohawk warriors attacked the small settlement of Lachine, New France and killed more than 90 of the village's 375 French residents.

    5e). Algonquins destroyed Schenectady, New York, killing 60 settlers, including ten women and at least twelve children.

    5f). The home of Johannes Dietz, Berne, New York, was attacked by Indians during the Revolution. Dietz, his wife, their daughter-in-law, four children of their son's family, and a servant girl were killed and scalped.



    Ofcourse this is no where near the end of attacks against settlers, and definitely does not account for the individual accounts. Ofcourse we, fairly well know and understand the PC version of history.

    However, what I just posted before you is nothing in light of history. Europeans were here, in America long long long long before Columbus set foot, in successive waves.

    Viking artifacts have been found all over America, but most interesting is the story of Erik the Red, when we learn of the encounters with Indians, who demonstrated they're desire to loot and kill the Vikings, but lost that battle, despite outnumbering the Vikings, perhaps, undoubedly to Viking women (Thank you for being so couragous!).

    I wont go into all the accounts of Pre-Columbian European settlement in America, prior and after the Indians trekked the Barin Land bridge, but will point specifically to the cherokee lore, themselves to demonstrate they're genocidial tendency, and which we can readily witness, once again, but only this time, THEY LOST THE WAR TO GENOCIDE THE SETTLERS.

    6). Moon Eyed people, readily available in various Indian lore, but most well known (Not many know it) is that this Tribe, was described with European traits, and lived in an area now known as Georgia, that is until the Cherokee invaders, killed and dispersed the entire moon eyed tribe from the lands.

    6b). We know this isnt a myth, thanks to DNA analyst, and Archeology which have done only a justice in proving that Genocide in America is nothing new, and European settlers did not commit the first act, nor did they start them, but were merely reacting.

    Today, we continue to hear the same war cry for genocide in America. La Raza? Much?

    So in short, Andrew Jackson saved more Indian lives, but more importantly, more American lives by removing the problem, in which was started in the American Indian war, which was not a single one or two battle, but a war of culture & people, in which we might be seeing if we take la Raza for the honesty they demonstrate in reconquering America from the "immigrant settlers".
