Last time I heard a boom like that was two years ago. Result was a leveled house and a couple dozen damaged. That was 3.3 miles away.

There are a lot of stupid & selfish people out there. These days one of our primary focuses is to stay clear of this type of criminal but you never know where they may show up. Sad for your son. Sad for a lot of innocent people.

I was trying to make some anti-matter in my mini collider setup at Happy Hollow park. The magnetic field was unstable and....boom. I imagine the parks dept will eventually find the small crater.
