my mom brought this to me yesterday, she found it in one of my dads drawers, anyone know about how old this box is? i dont remember my dad ever having a .22mag, but i can see how someone could have thought it was .22lr ammo because it only says magnum on one side of the box, not on the top. should you shoot old ammo or is it valuable to collectors? 1711498857436.jpg 1711498889324.jpg

    That’s 80’s
the grey box Winchester ammo is
Post 1993. The Post 1962 as that is when the commercial market was required to put keep out of reach of children label on it. The w in the lot number should make it 2005. They repeat the first lot number every 20 years and the box from 1985 should be white.

    Shoot it.

there was also an old box of remington thunderbolt .22lr in the bag she brought me. the price tag said it was $1.29 for 50 rds. we just shot it at the range today and it was flawless out of the p17.
