    I consider a fist to be as deadly as a club, knife, or firearm...the process may be different, but the outcome can be the same! One never knows if the first or second punch / hit / strike 'rings-one's-bell' and renders the individual unable to defend themselves, allowing the aggressor to have their way with little to no resistance! I'm not in to allowing that to happen...and in those situations, maintaining a reasonable distance is one's friend!!
