    Looking for sights on a carry gun, or is this strictly target use? I cant comment to the utility for carry use, as I will not use them on a carry gun. The only time I have had them on any guns was only because that was what came on them from the factory. Every one has broken a lite pipe on them in the first few times I have shot them. If you are looking to brighten up sights on a carry pistol for less than optimum light, look to the Tritium sights, more durable, and totally independent of external light.

    Well, sorry to hear that, in that case, Truglow I think makes fiber optics sights for just about anything. I think (not sure, as I honestly never researched too deeply in the subject) that they even make a tritium powered fiber optic sight for the 1911.
