Remember Owensboro is on slow time.

Our June USPSA pistol match is this Saturday (6/20/15). Sign-ups open at 9:00 AM and we shoot at 10:00 AM. The new shooters meeting will be held at 9:30 AM on Bay 2. There will be six stages including a Classifier. Stages will be posted via the website (www.orpci.org).


This will be our annual Friends of the NRA Benefit Match. All proceeds except USPSA mission count $$ will be donated to the FNRA for the promotion of the shooting sports. There will also be random draw for door prizes. The random draw includes a .22 handgun and other prizes provided by the FNRA. Come shoot with us.

Other stuff:
ORPCI Multi Gun (1,2 or 3 gun) June 26-27(Friday/Saturday) shoot either day or both days. You can shoot the match with rifle/pistol/shotgun, rifle/pistol or just pistol.

Classifier instructions say gun is unloaded but do not say if the slide can be locked back, also gun is to be lying flat but maybe mags can be propped on each other as desired to try and make them easier to grab? May have to do something crazy and actually look at the rules.

Unloaded condition is slide forward, hammer down -striker down. Stage says no propping.
