i would like to make the frame on my pa-63 black. it is aluminum. what options do i have for a finish. it needs to be durable. the first time i shot the gun i put 50 rounds thru it and the red paint for the safety came off the slide. so it needs to take some abuse.
    any info would be appreciated.

I use KG Gunkote and a phosphate primer. it's pretty easy to use as long as the prep is done right it is durable.
With the phosphate it will stick to aluminum or stainless

Allen hit the nail on the head here. You have to use that type of primer or paint will not stick to aluminum.
