I am looking for getting another 9mm and keep looking at the Para Carry 9. Has anyone had one for a length of time now and what are your thoughts of it? I've heard tha it had a really great DA trigger on it and that is the trigger style that I want. It has a thumb safety similar to a 1911 whereas, the S&W model has the thumb safety in the same place but you have to push the safety up versus down.

Please let me know everyone's thoughts...thanks.

I have a Para Carry 9 and LOVE IT. Other than my Detonics pistols it is the only 1911 that I carry on a pretty regular basis.

The LDA trigger is excellent and I think a very good choice for a carry weapon.

The downside is that the finish on the frame is not particularly durable. Mine is one of 2 made with the green frame and black slide. My green finish is chipped and worn but the slide looks almost new with no real signs of wear. You'd almost think a new slide was put on an older frame!

Thanks for your feedback. Like the pic btw...has a nice "worn" look which does show obviously you carry it frequently. The one I am conisdering is all black.
