Half meat half fat throw in a few berries. It has long been a survival food of native Americans,and world explorers.

Now you can make it yourself.It is quite a bit of work.OR now thanks to the Lakota tribe you can order it online in bar form.They call them Tanka Bars,but have no doubt they are Pemmican with a modern name.

I found it an excellent product and thought maybe some here would appreciate it.

Those Tanka bars are very good. Especially the spicy ones. Buffalo meat & cranberries... good stuff!
