You'd be wise to avoid all soda pop of all kinds, especially anything with caffine in it.

IMHO they are as dangerous as cigarrettes.

I honestly don't taste that much difference. I have never tasted them side by side, but when I have had the throwback, I just think it tastes the same.

For me, I have done the side by side taste taste and prefer the throwback. Some other people have done my taste test and most like the throwback better. Also like the Dr. Pepper Heritage.

i like the throwbacks better, but they're a no-no for me anymore. the dr. says i'm already too sweet, i don't need any more sugar.
